The buggy is a small vehicle adapted for sandy terrain, widely used in Canoa Quebrada and that allows you to explore the stunning landscape with its natural beauty, such as the Sunset Dune, in a beautiful landscape of dunes and lagoons. You can cross the "Cumbe" and reach the mouth of the Jaguaribe River.
In which you will get to know the typical landscapes of this region at your own pace, going through the beaches of Majorlândia, Quixaba, Lagoa do Mato, Fontainha, Retirinho, and Ponta Grossa. Each of the beaches has its own beauties, color-changing cliffs and amazing rock formations. In Ponta Grossa, stop at one of the typical restaurants and try lobsters, prawns and fish with inviting flavors.
The region offers other unique attractions and landscapes, such as the beach and the natural caves of Pontal de Maceió, the Pirangi River, Agulhas Beach, Fortim Lighthouse, the meeting of waters at the mouth of the Jaguaribe River and Canto da Barra.
With Gérome Bertrand Saunier, a native Swiss, who lovingly receives the treatment of "Jerome", you can explore Canoa Quebrada from above. Double flights take place at Church Square at the end of Broadway in Canoa Quebrada. Wind is the deciding factor to fly properly. Usually the flights are made in the afternoon, from 15hs. The duration of a flight is 15 to 20 minutes.
Many kite surfers come to this part of Ceará in order to make the most of the large flat water areas and the constant winds, which provide the ideal conditions for lovers of this sport.
Flat water, constant winds and huge spaces are the hallmarks of the region's kitesurf spots.
At low tide, the calm waters of the mouth of the Jaguaribe River offer an area of 4 km², when it is possible to sail daily for about 4 hours in a large space.
In Canoa Quebrada, the spot is at the end of the beach, after the Bom Motivo tent. Not recommended for beginners, the spot is suitable for a downwind to the Jaguaribe River.
The beaches of Majorlândia and Quixaba are also popular with kitesurfers.

The ride with a comfortable boat leaves Cumbe or the mouth of the river, in a place called Canto da Barra, municipality of Fortim.
The Jaguaribe River has a fauna rich in tropical birds, crabs and fish. He is also famous for his delicious oysters.
On the east side, the river is bordered by mangrove vegetation, palm trees, carnauba and coconut palms. Its west side is occupied by impressive summer buildings.
The panoramic view is unforgettable, including the beautiful city of Fortim, with its fishing port and its church.
